First, inspect your car before you leave for the race track. Make sure that there are no leaks and no problems with the brakes. Moreover, you should ensure that your tires are properly inflated and that the engine and the cooling system are in good working condition. In addition to this, you should have your car officially inspected, as you will only be allowed to engage in drag racing once your vehicle has passed the inspection. After having passed it, your automobile will be given a number. If not, you will be given another chance to fix the problem.

Upon going through the inspection and successfully passing it, you should be ready for your first race. Line up in the pit section of the racing track where technicians will be checking out your car and will be assigning you your own particular lane. Afterwards, you should pull into the staging area. If you want, you can opt to make a practice run on the wet area of the track. Roll slowly up to the staging lights, which consist of two yellow lights, one green and one red light. Once the second yellow light starts to light up, begin to accelerate your engine and once the green lights up, take off as fast as you can. Follow these tips when engaging in drag racing and you will surely experience the thrill of your life.
